Moore United Club Announcement

Moore managers step down

Lee Willott – 1st Team Manager

Strange to be writing this (and trust me when I say it was a hard decision to make), but as of Saturday 28th May I have stepped down as 1st Team Manager of Moore United FC along with my Assistant, John Ellis. I have had a fantastic 17 years with the club, with the best bunch of lads anyone could ever have around them, from players to committee and everything else associated with the club. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my time at the club, very much appreciated!! But not all bad news as I will be turning up with the Vets next year. Cheers Lee

Neil O’Dwyer – Reserve Team Manager

After a great deal of thought I have decided to step down as Reserve Team Manager. It's been the most difficult decision I've ever had to make. I've been with the club now for 20 years; 18 as a player and 2 as player manager. I’ve made some great friends along the way… friends for life.
I'd like thank Shez, Matty Hand, Adam Dakin and the rest of the current Committee for the fantastic support over the last 2 years.

The biggest thank you goes to the players over the last 2 years. We've moved on as a team and improved both on and of the pitch. Thanks for all your commitment.
Good luck in the coming season and I will be your biggest supporter.

Billy Green's Red & White Army!

Committee

As club we would like to thank Lee & Odie for all their hard work over last couple of seasons in charge of the 1st & Reserve teams and would also like to thank their families for giving us their time to the club. We are sad to see both lads step down as Managers, as they have 37 years with the club between them. Like everyone who has ever been associated with Moore United will know, it's in your blood and Lee & Odie will be still supporting the 1st & 2nd teams next season and will be fantastic additions to the Veterans.
