Malpas hit Garswood for nine!!

Premier Division

Despite a number of postponements this week, we still saw an astonishing 19 goals in the Premier Division this week.

Over half of those goals came in one game, as Malpas took on Garswood United. Malpas came away with a 9-1 victory, thanks to goals from Dan Lloyd, Robert Martin, Richard Sadler, Chris Bevan, Mike Gibbs, Pavel Abramowicz (2) and Adam Hailes (2).

Knutsford picked up a 2-4 win over Crewe in a top of the table clash to move up to third in the table, just six points off leaders, Whaley Bridge. Altrincham Reserves were disappointing in their 3-0 loss away at Congleton Vale, as the Robins now sit in a compromising position.

League One

There was only one game in League One, as AFC Macclesfield took on Pilkington at Stockport Sports Village. The home side came away with a 2-1 victory, through goals from Greg Mathers and Tom Bowey.

League Two

Deva Christleson moved up to second this week as they beat Barnton Reserves at home. The only goal of the game coming through Chris Varney. Cuddington lost 2-6 to Ford Motors, Motor’s goals coming from Jones, Davies, Robinson (2) and Wynne (2).

Moore United and Sandbach Reserves played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, a result which moves neither team in the league table.
