Reserve League One

Whaley Bridge are sitting pretty at the top of Reserve League One following an emphatic 8-1 win at home against local rivals Gamesley. Alex Airey was in fine form as he bagged four, while Joel Barnett (2) Ben Jackson and Jake Burton also made the score sheet.

Knutsford made it two wins in two as they beat Sandbach United 2-0 through goals from Kallum McDonagh and Matt Davies.

Linotype CHN and Poynton shared the points in an entertaining 0-0 draw, while Jordan Farrell scored twice in Garswood United’s 2-0 win at home against rivals Billinge.

Ricky Thompson, Matt Burgess, Lee Deakin, George Hynes and Paul Molloy all hit home for Greenalls PSO as they won 5-2 away at Grappenhall Sports to get their first win of the season.

Two goals from Andy Dawson and an own goal helped Eagle Sports to a 3-1 win at Daten. Rob Stewart scored for the home team.

Reserve League Two

Rylands have taken maximum points from their opening two games as they ran out 5-0 winners at home against Pilkington. Greg Freeman scored twice, along with goals from Adam Rosterne, Ryan Matthews and Liam Barnett.

Denton Town also secured full points to go second after a 5-1 win at Wythenshawe Town that saw Carl Walker score all five.

Ryan Tootle, Ryan McCarthy and Danny Walker scored for West Didsbury & Chorlton A in their 3-3 draw with Mersey Valley Development squad, with Gary Wood bagging a hat trick for the away team.

Ryan Immison, John Burgess and Mark Woods gave Golborne Sports a 3-0 lead at the break as they played host to Moore United but second half goals from Sam Howard and debutant Phil Gahgan set the game for an edgy finish.

Matthew Cann, James Dean and Ed Marsh scored for Middlewich Town as they lost 4-3 at home against Malpas. Alex Hughes and Luke Bailey bagged a brace each for the away team.
