Reserve League Round Up 15/10/16

AFC Macc sit pretty at the top...

Reserves League One
There were two games in the top reserve division this week. The first saw Linotype Cheadle HN defeated Daten in a 1-4 victory that keeps Nomads at the summit of the table. Nomads’ goals came via Bromley, Danaher and Cavanagh (2).

The other game saw Billinge and Poynton come out evens in a 2-2 draw. This game doesn’t affect any league standings however.

Reserves League Two

AFC Macclesfield came from being one down to FC St Helens to come away with all three points in a 2-1 victory as Macclesfield move ahead of St Helens and onto the top of the lead.

Golborne Sports defeated Middlewich Town 3-1 in what was only their second win of the season, they are still yet to win away from home. The final game of the week saw Moore United beat Mersey Valley 5-2 to move within three points of St Helens and Mersey Valley, who sit in joint second.
